A note from your clerk – work starting to improve surface of Byeway 31

It’s taken much longer than we hoped, but we’ve now had confirmation that their contractor will be starting work tomorrow to:

• The works will consist of 50m of surfacing using planings as well as the clearance of adjacent ditch; and
• the laying of additional planings to the surface below the byeway

It is anticipated that the work will be completed this week, and hopefully this will go some way to improving accessibility, particularly in wetter weather.
