We had a busy morning yesterday working at Six Acres and in the cemetery...

With thanks to all our volunteers and the help of Adam Herridge of Suffolk Tree Surgery and Landscapes we were able to cut back and clear scrub behind the Skatepark and MUGA which will help keep the surface clear of debris and reduce moss over the winter months. The chippings have been saved and will be used as mulch for trees in the cemetery and across the parish estate as and when needed.
Foliage was also cut away from the zip wire, and scrub taken out from behind the fencing at the Children’s play area.

Thank you again to our councillors, Andrea and Kevin Grimes, and Mike Lavelle, and Deb Moir, Roger Medley, and Tim O’Donnell for their time, enthusiasm and hard work – a great team – we couldn’t do it without you!!
Our next volunteer morning will take place on Wednesday 7th October, when we plan a clean down of equipment at the Children’s Play Area at the Recreation Ground. Please get in touch if you would like to join us!
