Also attached, is a form which you can download to use to request an election.
If by 5 March 2026 a request for an election to fill the vacancy is made in writing to the Returning Officer below by ten electors for the Parish, an election will be held to fill the vacancy. If an election is called, it will take place not later than 12 May 2026.
If no request for election is made, the parish council may then fill the vacancy by co-option (together with two further vacancies where no request for an election was made).
